Cheryl 'Cherie' Ann Ryan, 72, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully at her home on August 3, 2017. She was born on June 9, 1945, in Lincoln to Oliver N. and Anne C. (Chapman) Magee. She was a graduate of the University of Nebraska. She married Patrick Ryan on July 30, 1966, in Lincoln. Cherie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Cherie is survived by her husband, Pat, of Lincoln; daughters, Kim (Jay) Kucera of Denver; Melissa (Chad) Essex of Doniphan; Sean Ryan of Lincoln; grandchildren, Michael, Alyssa, Abigail, Anastasia, Alisyn, Cole and Kelsey; sisters, Susie (Doug) Stroman; Nancy (Armon) Nielsen both of Lincoln; Debbie (Tom) Boren of Lubbock, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Annie Magee.

Memorial service: 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 9, at Lincoln Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment: Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Cherie's family is requesting casual dress.
